Map
Usage
A coverage/location visualisation over a stylised dot-grid, not a real geographic map — the reference used Google Maps and jsVectorMap, both of which need either a paid API key or a bundled world-boundary dataset whose licensing was not worth signing up for in a component library meant to be redistributed. `x`/`y` are abstract 0-100 canvas positions the caller supplies (pre-computed from real coordinates, or just relative placement), not something this component geocodes.import { MapView } from '@summonware/ui';Best practices
DoUse this for "which regions do we have presence in" at a glance — office locations, coverage areas, where customers are concentrated.
Don'tUse this where real geographic accuracy matters (routing, precise distance, actual map navigation). This is intentionally not that — reach for a real mapping provider and its own license terms when the requirement is genuinely geographic.
